Vogue took manicure gel to test drive a conclusion

When Vogue took manicure gel to test drive a conclusion we draw is that pro gel nails do not outweigh the cons. The relationship between exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays and cancer, but not convincing at the time, was a bold check mark in the negative column.
Now the Skin Cancer Foundation has just released a study by research proving device emits UV-radiation is carcinogenic in humans.
"Although research has shown that the risk of skin cancer associated with light-emitting UVR nail manicure gel for very low, insignificant," Elizabeth K. Hale, MD, vice president of the Skin Cancer Foundation says.
We prefer to wait for technological advances in topcoats in that case. Dior and Deborah Lippmann already have some non-UV cured gel coat options offered!
